Shaifubahrim Mohd Saleh has more than 27 years of hands-on strategic and operational management experience working for 5 multinational companies in Malaysia and the region, as well as providing consulting to Government and Private Enterprises. He is certified in Change Management by Pritchett Rummler-Brache to consult in Corporate Growth, Culture Change and Performance Improvement. His industry experience covers Information Technology, Telecommunications, Insurance, Government, Defense and Public Utilities. He facilitates executive seminars on leadership and strategy locally and abroad.

He has been extensively involved in the ICT industry in Malaysia, Middle East and across the Asian region from managing ICT companies to advising national bodies in ICT policies and implementation. His vast IT, Telecommunication & Internet knowhow and experience are derived from working in:

• IBM (1983-88) and Oracle Systems (1990-95) servicing the Government, Defense and Public Utilities sectors,
• Logica (1989) and Data General (1995) providing enterprise resource management solutions to many industries,
• Banyan Systems Asia (1996-99), Aironet Wireless Communications AP/J and Cisco Systems Malaysia (1999-2001) as Managing Directors.

He had been a Board member and an Audit Committee member of the Multimedia Super Corridor project (MSC) Malaysia from 1999 - 2004 during which he was also on the Boards of the Investment Committee, Remuneration and Nomination Committee and the Tender Board Committee. He is also familiar with MDC subsidiaries in particular G-Tek Electronics, MSCTC and MSCMS, having served as Chairman of the Board and Board Member respectively.

Shaifu has been an active player in various ICT related national and industry councils. He had been a member of the Bumiputra IT Council under the Entrepreneur Ministry, a member of the National Economic Consultative Council (MAPEN II, 1999) for the Science and Technology Group Malaysia, and a member of the 2nd National IT Council (NITC) chaired by the Prime Minister of Malaysia then A long time council member of PIKOM, he had served as Chairman of the Association for two terms (1997-1998). He was the Association Advisor, Chairman of PIKOM Northern Chapter, as well as Advisor to Government Relation Committee and the Association's Export Promotion Committee.

He was a member of the Penang State IT Council (1998-2008), Chapter member of Talents-Ideas-Enterprise (TiE) Council, and was Board member of 3 public listed companies namely Edaran Berhad, eBCapital Berhad and Redtone International Bhd.

Currently, Shaifu is the President of PIKOM. Aged 51, Shaifu holds a Bachelors of Science (Hons) Degree in Computer and Management from the Universiti Sains Malaysia. Married with 3 lovely kids, he resides in Petaling Jaya.

En. Niran Noor
Vice President, Stakeholder & Customer Relations at MDeC

Niran Noor is a thirty year veteran in Marketing, Branding, Communications and Services and currently presides as the Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance. Appointed to this role since December 2009, Niran is focused in driving the sharing of knowledge and benchmarking of innovations, represented by the framework of cooperation within the Alliance, to benefit its sixteen member economies.

Positioned to be a catalyst for collaboration, talent development, entrepreneurship, wealth creation and ICT advancement within the APAC region, the Alliance benefits from Niran's breath of experience in global brand management and brand building, market and consumer research.

Niran is currently the Vice President, Stakeholder & Customer Relations, at Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) since May 2010 where he is accountable for enhancing thought leadership mindshare of MSC Malaysia with Govt Ministries and Agencies. His scope include Multilateral Govt engagements as well. His role also involves ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction at all touchpoints.

At MDeC before May 2010, Niran is also recognized for his role as the Vice President, Marketing and Branding, a position he held since April, 2006. His main responsibility in this position is to promote MSC Malaysia, the National ICT Initiative as a global ICT hub. Key to one of the MSC Malaysia Initiatives is the MSC Malaysia APICTA Awards - a premier platform and programme by the Malaysian government to stimulate new innovation and awareness in ICT.

Prior to joining MDeC, he has held various senior management positions, gaining an extensive experience in resource marketing, strategic brand development and growth mainly with MNCs in the FMCG industry and in large local corporations.

A Masters in Business Administration graduate from the Golden Gate University, San Francisco, Niran also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from University of San Francisco as well as a Diploma from the Institute of Marketing UK. Married with four children, he enjoys reading and golfing in his spare time.

Mr. Vijandren' stewardship of Lowyat.NET has lead to it becoming the nation's leading community for exchange, serving over 2.5 million unique monthly users with over 300,000 registered Malaysian members.

Mr. Vijandren continues to serves as strategic and business lead for Lowyat.NET while being involved in other non-IT related ventures.

En. Azli Paat

Director of Ada Vista Sdn Bhd and Dapat Vista (M) Sdn Bhd President of Malaysian Mobile Content Provider Association

Azli is one of the best-known Malaysian entrepreneurs who sets the standard in mobile communication, where the public can interact with the organization via SMS. He also is the brainchild that pioneered the household name, RakanCop, a mobile platform that connects the community with the police force which was awarded the Best of e-Inclusion and e-Community Service at MSC Malaysia APICTA 2009.

Apart from that, embracing the concept that the Malaysian government delivery services is 'always on', Azli extended his platform and introduced another award winning mobile government service, mySMS 15888 that offers more that 3500 services, one of its kind in the world that bridge the digital divide divide between government agencies and its customers. As a mobile technologist, he is also an amateur radio hobbyist, creating a room for the ancient communication technology and share the knowledge with other hams under one banner, called Hamfest Malaysia.

Azli is a man who is passionate about new technology and loves to share it too. Regardless if it is regarding Internet, mobile, electronics or biotechnology, new technology fascinates him as he shares the latest insight, tips and tricks everyday in his own radio segment on Radio 24, Klasik Nasional and KLFM.

He is also active in humanitarian works locally and abroad. As the Head of Communication and Rescue Unit of Malaysian Red Crescent he is responsible for making sure communication never cease when disaster strikes. Azli has served in all the recent major disaster i.e Tsunami in Acheh, Earthquake in Yoga and Padang, flood in Johor and recently Kedah and Perlis. Azli is also the only Malaysian selected as a ERU (Emergency Response Unit) under International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, qualified to be deployed anywhere in the world.

His recent experience includes a stint as County Sales Manager, Malaysia for Infoweapons Inc, where he built a reseller network and a pipeline for IPv6 appliances, secure applications, solutions and services, and Country Sales Manager, ASEAN region for Pacific Advantage International Limited, where he providing business development, marketing and consultancy services for companies from US, Canada, Czech Republic and UK; and Vice-President for Strategic Alliances at Mokool Pte Lte, where he initiated a worldwide Partner Program that secured over 60 Mobile Content Partners. Adam Chua

With a decade of experience in software and IT related industries, Adam Chua, the director of Yeahhost, has planted a strong spirit to pursue the latest technologies and knowledge to face various competitive challenges.

In 2003, he introduced a new idea which able to provide ultimate closed loop control solution to handle SMT (Surface Mounting Technology) feeders in the shop floor effectively. The idea quickly accepted by many foreign companies (US, Canada, and etc.) and the solution successfully implemented in the PCB (printed circuit board) production floor. The solution eliminated the anxieties caused by problematic feeders. The idea was expanded to a wider scope after few months and a sub system was created, and then centralised the control of spare parts used in machining and engineering at enterprise level.

He took his first step towards providing ERP solution to companies in 2004. He is an enthusiastic professional who actively involving in integrating and migrating electronic data interchange (EDI) business process to the RosettaNet standards, which rapidly becoming the dominant standard for transacting business on the Internet.

His experiences in computerising and optimising business operations and his advanced programming foundation speed up the evolving process of many local companies, especially for those who are using IT solutions in large degree. It is interesting to know that some of the solutions are delivered through agile project management, in a highly flexible and interactive manner. After years of experience in IT related fields, he also nurtured his expertise in fault and error prevention, which able to eliminate invalid operations in productions. After months of R&D, he introduced his ultimate idea in 2006 and created a solution that able to automate the verifying process of wrong program instructions and missing component checking on PCB boards. A year later, in 2007, he automated the SMT program conversion, feeders. balancing and feeding optimisation of various types of SMT machines such as Fuji and GSM machines, and again proven the solution able to greatly reduce faults and increase productivity in the production lines.

En. Mohamad Zamroh Mahmud

Mohamad Zamroh Mahmud currently working in .my domain registry as Senior Manager - Technical. Prior of joining .my domain registry, he was 9 years in Healthcare Industry managing several hospitals as Operations Manager for Total Hospital Information System (THIS) operations and support.

He previously was managing hospital under Kumpulan Perubatan Johor before joining iSOFT Health (www.isofthealth.com) and providing Operations & Support for 14 government hospitals including Ampang Hospital, Serdang Hospital and also Sungei Buloh Hospital for Central Region.
