The key idea is to provide a platform for users to share their experience on the local businesses through rating and review; meanwhile, it acts as a helpful living guide assisting users to search and explore the best things around.

It will combine local reviews and social networking functionality to create online community. The idea behind is to keep users update on the places and experience shared by friends; most importantly, their friends. reviews will give them better confidence than others.

Carlist.my is Malaysia.s largest free car classifieds. It started when the founders realized that there was no real online presence for car classifieds in Malaysia. Although there were several online Malaysian car classifieds at that time, they were very unpopular because they were badly managed and had listings with questionable quality that made it hard to find or sell a car online. They then decided to create Carlist.my so car sellers and buyers alike will have a new and better platform to advertise and find used cars more easily.

Carlist.my was launched on February 2009 with the vision of revolutionizing industries in Malaysia through the Internet. Fast forward to 22 months later today, Carlist.my has now over 28,000 car listings with more than 8000 unique visitors a day and 3.5 million page views per month. It is still a very exciting period for the site as they have plenty more features under development.

They still have a long way to go but the guys at Carlist.my are very determined as they know they are changing the car industry one step at a time.
